This study shows stellations combining both types of planes that are extensions of faces of the polyhedron, or parallel to them. In the first model, points of the stellation coincide with a regular dodecahedron. Scenes dropdown menu shows planar extensions.

Below is a second stellation using both types of planes of Enneacontahedron. In this model, the two parts are scaled relative to each other so that the points of this stellation coincide with vertices of a Triacontahedron, as shown in dropdown menu.
